What are the indexes of material quality assessment for aluminium window & door?

1. Thickness: Aluminium door has 70 series and 90 series, (Serial digit 70 or 90 means the frame structure thickness is 70 or 90 mm), usually, 70 series sliding door applied in the residential interior. Aluminium window has 55 series, 60 series, 70 series and 90 series. Which series should be selected determined by the size of window aperture and wind pressure value in local.

2. Tensile Strength: the tensile strength should equal or greater than 157 N/mm², yield strength should equal or greater than 108 N/mm². A test method: when moderate bending the profiles, it should be able to return to the status after let go.

3. Colour scale: one piece of aluminium profile, the colour between two ends should be consistent if has an obvious chromatic aberration, unfavourable choose.

Aluminum Z-Section, also known as Zed Section, is the most commonly used aluminium for structural applications. Hoonly usually extrudes Aluminum Z bar in alloys 6063 and 6061. Due to its fine finish and strength to weight ratio, it is ideal for architectural trim, door and window frames, furniture components and trims, supporting boards or sheets to create a display area, safety and deck structures, athletic equipment, frames, racks etc.
