Project Description

Aluminium extrusion process diagram

As we know, it would be unworthy if aluminium profile defected because of bending, but how to avoid it?

Extrusion Aligning:

Aligning is an important segment that maybe bend the profile, the worker who takes charge of aligning must pay more attention to the force: the strong force will make the shape of the profile deformation, closing in and peeling, less force will cause the bending.

Movement After Extrusion:

Moving the profile to next process is also very important, the profiles will be shifted into metal frames, please pay attention: Is the profile large or small? Is it a tube or flat? Generally speaking, two ends of large profile and tube are not easy to bend compared with the small profile and flat. (large profile usually refer to the profile section diameter is more than 80 mm, and the thickness is more than 0.8 mm; on the contrary, it belongs to small profile). When we move the small piece (length more than 5 meters), it’s easy to bend carrying on both ends, so the correct way to carry it is from two ends to the center.

Pending To Surface Treatment:

The hardness of billets reaches the standard after aging, so the profile is less prone to bending. However pay attention when it hits the shelves, if lifting both ends of the profile, try to avoid fluctuation of upper and lower which could cause aluminium profile’s bending.
